I'm trying to determine if I would get the 10K status points during 2026 calendar year or would they post in January and count towards 2027 status. I suppose the exact timing won't be known here until the people who applied during the summer get their status points.
It is definitely the day you are approved. For as horrible as the BofA IT is they surprisingly have a spend tracker that tracks your annual spend for the 100k companion fare, and it goes to your anniversary date.
Also AS elite status is now valid until the end of January instead of December, which allows time for elite CC points to post by end of January without affecting status,
