I hear you, but it's just such a bad service experience for the guest. There's nothing worse than having arranged for a 4pm check-out, forgetting to put on the DND and having housekeeping banging on your door or entering the room at 9 AM. Well there is one thing I guess, trying to have a nap before you leave in the afternoon and having housekeeping busting down the door at 3 pm despite the fact you have the DND sign on the door. I've had some get downright snippy with me when the ask when I'm leaving and I say '4 pm', as in, who do I think I am??
