Something that has become a bit of a theme is BA aircraft released from heavy maintenance then finding themselves unairworthy after a few rotations.

This fate seems to have struck G-ZBJJ which arrived back from Cardiff lunchtime on 22 Nov and was promptly dispatched that afternoon to BWI, followed by subsequent sorties to Portland and Hyderabad but the aircraft taken out of traffic on arrival and has not flown subsequently despite an allocation to the BA277 to HYD again which did not materialise and resulted in a cancellation of the return trip.

Hoping it’s not another RR engine defect as this could cause it to be oou for a long time.

Anyone know?
