I suspect this is a one-off thing to push people into Koru Black but I would not mind if they ran it periodically in the future like Qantas does. Any travel I needed I already booked based on a previous sale. But if I knew this was a regular promotional thing like it is with Qantas, there are times I'd skip buying a flight on-sale to buy it during double SP instead.
