Using 3 TSUs over NYE and Christmas for 14 nights in a suite. We chose the hotel based on where we could use for a family trip. I had 4 TSUs expiring so used 3. What a great benefit. I probably would have bought a suite anyway. So I figure im saving at least $500 a night.

These TSUs are what keep me sticky, loyal to Hyatt.

I'd say 50% of the time I get the standard suites. Other times I get upgraded above and beyond. Main thing is the place I normally use them (the resort I mentioned above) is crazy stingy in upgrades. But it's fine actually as their standard suites is arguably better than their next level up because they have dinky pool suites that are not worth the money. I'd like a beach front but they'll never give that to me. 8 times here and never upgrades above and beyond.
