Curious if this is truly a hard-and-fast rule at JFK. I want to reposition in the morning on a separate Delta ticket and then work from the lounge all day before an evening Upper Class flight to LHR. Will the counter turn me away? I'd be looking to check my bag at 8:00 AM for the 7:00 PM flight.
