Note the credit doesn't reimburse tips or taxes, though that is not totally unexpected. It was odd in this case as the restaurant used the portable POS terminals which only charge once. I guess they code the sub-total versus tip/tax total? Total was $179, but only got a $139 credit.
I do find it obnoxious that Chase has this information, but doesn't bother to list it in the transaction details.
I charged $150 at Hell's Kitchen is Las Vegas ($120 tip and $30 off the bill (and we used various comps from the four of us to pay the rest). i got the $150 Dining credit as expected.
