interestingly, this was one of the few clubs I’ve seen that had a person and not just a key swipe. I wasn’t like it was a really big club either.
25 years and over 2000 stays as a platinum. I guess you’ll eventually run into everything.
Can I ask which location it was? I used to stay at the Marriott Oakland (CA) a lot and they always have a person at the door for breakfast service checking off a list to make sure everyone is "legal." Any other time, including nightly appetizers, it was keycard access.
