I am always glad when hotels enforce member + 1. Most places you can purchase additional lounge access. The ones that enforce the rules tend to have the nicer lounges with better benefits. The freeloading with multiple rooms and inviting friends for drinks has to stop - already difficult enough to get benefits with Marriott
