I can't seem to find an existing thread for my question:

I have a FHR booking at a Marriott property, and the Marriott rep told me that, since this is an expedia booking, I will not earn Bonvoy points or stay credit. Is that correct? (and not just for Marriott but also for Hyatt, Hilton, etc.?)

(I know that for CSR The Edit, some hotel reservations are marked "WoH eligible" or "Bonvoy eligible" etc.)
