I had a similiar incident years ago when I was a college student in Iowa and I travelled out of Des Moines Int'l and the GA used a rather demeaning and racial eptithet that I promptly reported to UA in Chicago. I received a letter in less than 5 business days with profuse apologies and comp me with 25K in my account and 2 confirm regional upgrade worldwide. Also, the letter stated that the employee was subject to disciplinary action = fired.
