Solid overall

Stayed in the Deluxe King Suite for a total of 6 nights. I am a Diamojd member.

Overall: building may be on the older side, but they have kept it in good shape. I prefer rhe inside of a hotel having an airy feeling and this place does it well. The check in area is a tad on the small side, so lines take shape pretty quickly. They are well staffed though, so only compliments to the well trained staff for always doing a good job. I would say the staff here is a bit better than Conrad Marina Bay.

Executive Lounge: it is there, but honestly I would skip it. It's a small spot, so any busy times (e.g., afternoon tea or evening drinks) can get pretty crowded. Staff is lovely, but it's not a spot i felt relaxed in given the cramped nature.

Pool/Gym: they are fine. Pool is on the smaller side, but the locker/showers with it was nicely sized. If you arrive early or leave late and would like a shower to refresh, the front desk accomodated and the facilities were solid for it.

Breakfast - overall your usual Conrad spread in Asia - so excellent in my opinion to get the job done. Of course it can be a bit crowded/hectic at times, but the restaurant is large, so it isnt from a lack of trying by the hotel to manage flow. Never had to wait for seating to open up. The Diamond member space may fill up though if you cared for that.

Room - overall well spaced. 2 separate balconies was excellent (if you can tolerate the humidity and/or it isnt raining). Folks of course have pointed out the lack of tubs and overall smaller bathrooms. I get the appeal of having a tub and larger space generally, but I will say it was actually really nice to have 2 bathrooms in the suite. The bathrobes were actually a bit plush rather than feeling like one was just wearing towels. The in unit drinking water dispenser is a nice touch you pretty much never find in modern hotel design. I didnt check if the water was further filtered, but that line of worry is also infinite anyhow - you can always wonder how often filters are changed. There is a goose neck kettle you can boil water with.

Misc. -as I understand it, no Conrad stuff animals at the Singapore locations, if you cared. Marina Bay Conrad gave out Conrad rubber ducky proactively (given there was a tub) whereas no tub here made sense as to no ducky. They did give out these aromatherapy bars for the room which i liked. You splash a little water on them and have them in yoir shower while you shower. Scents were nice and something frankly I would love to see all Conrads adopt.

Location will be hit/moss for people depending on needs. There is plenty of public transport in Singapore where I think Conrad Orchard is a solid base for visitors to operate out of. The price is usually nuch better than Conrad Marina Bay. If I am visiting SG for leisure, I would recommend Conrad Orchard.
