I will miss the sandwiches, they were delicious on AF and I can't imagine they will be saving any substantial amount of money on this (certainly not more than the extra I was willing to pay extra to fly on a full service airline). But as long as there's no BOB, I'm good. One more reason to fly AF over KL, although I imagine most customers will not appreciate the lack of consistency in the network.
I like the sandwiches too, though the box on the longer flights looks like a nice improvement. I guess the main savings will come from not having to throw away leftover sandwiches at the end of the day, as the sucré/salé has a much longer shelf life.
