While I don't put much stock in the new Michelin Keys I have noted that the MO was entirely left out of mention which I guess would be a point in the awards favor. The One key distinctions in KL being RuMa, 4S and... Else. The last one being fairly unknown to me. Anyone that have an impression?

Hello all, I am due to revisit KL this New year, I appreciate that fireworks are not confirmed but in terms of views of potential fireworks I am tossing up between Grand Hyatt, Traders and Four Season. In response to some of the questions about MO. Stayed there last year and it was really sub-par and nowhere near MO standard. Service was very poor throughout our stay. The receptionist couldn't have made it clearer she hated her job. Booked through FHR, no upgrade despite loads of availability showing online. Welcome gift included in booking dumped down on counter in torn box. Breakfast was a shambles. Took ages to get a table, slow service and ran out of dim sum about 30 mins before the end of breakfast. However, very keen to remind you when breakfast was ending. The staff around the pool were too busy chatting rather than giving out towels. Only person who seemed who showed professionalism was the very friendly doorman.
Rooms are ok, aircon works well and bed is comfortable, but old fashioned and tired.
I wanted toc omplain at check-out but they just gave me a card for the manager and that was it. When I emailed no response, which says it all really.
Only FS , amongst the hotels you mentioned , belong in this forum
Will be back in FS next week , our current go to for years now unless they are at 100 % , so tried MO again this year when it was the case .. but sadly , quite a disappointing stay , at least the corridor / hallway of our floor did not have that stale odour
The pool guys addressed me by name and remarked that they had not seen me for years !
Service at the pool and Club Lounge was alright but generally “ iffy “ elsewhere
