Yes, both PJs and slippers are offered on HKG-LAX. PJs are usually laid out on the shelf by row 1. Slippers should already be at seats, but recently it seems they forget, but asking the FA results in a search and rescue mission in the various bins/closets and they usually find the stash.
Of course that does not mean that they will be offered when *you* fly, because you know United is consistently inconsistent.
