Chatted with an agent who looked into it, said it was a mistake (and verified on my booking the fee had been removed at checkout), so processed a refund for $25. Got the email yesterday that the refund has been processed, but as of this morning it hasn't shown up on my BOA account.
I've booked several partner awards and paid with my Summit card, and in all cases except one it has worked as expected, with the $12.50 fee not being charged. But, I'm now seeing a posted $12.50 charge on my BoA online account for a recent purchase.
Did you chat with an Alaska or BoA agent?
Did the credit post on your BoA account without any further action?
I'm debating calling or chatting with Alaska or just disputing the charge through BoA.
Thanks!
