Raffles and the head of Flying Blue did a podcast together. Flying Blue was very encouraged by the uptake and more or less announced that come 2026 they may well offer another status match for those with expiring status then ready to jump ship. BA would be well advised to up the ante before then to prevent further leakage. I think, like myself, many have been looking elsewhere but while still having BA status benefits have been continuing to fly BA while perhaps crediting elsewhere or in my case drawing down my previously vast Avios stockpile. Assuming I drop to silver next April then any competitor with a generous invitation will be well received.
