Don't disagree but it might be more the First Wing having a direct security channel which is quick and efficient, going straight through to the lounge that is seen as more valuable than Galleries F. Last summer as a Silver the 'normal' T5 fast track security experience was anything but with long, slow queues and surly staff. But if the new scanners have improved security performance at T5 then it shouldn't be a great hardship to drop down back to 'regular' fast track, which at T3 and LGW I have to use anyway.
