Sugar, I promise you on every bottle of Bombay in the house that when I want "delight and Surprise" options - I would require no Consultants unless it was one from the gynaecology department and I think that that ship sailed long ago.
What irritates me is that the BA which has attempted to nickel and dime everything, can find the money to hire these people whose every measure have brought misery and dismay. I have had more Delight from Fry's than these changes in the BAC (even that name sounds cheap and tacky). BA have started to backtrack - now they need to do a back-crawl as I suspect that there are plenty out there, myself included, who may very well embrace the charms of, in my instance Air France.

The message that was sent to those passengers was that BA wasn't especially interested in their custom. It would happily service them but unless they planned to spend a lot more they'd need to get used to not having some of the perks they'd become accustomed to. What they never seemed to realise was that those passengers could react in a very similar way and have a much more casual relationship with BA.
One thing that M. Macron might have learned is that you upset the pensioners at your peril. Uncle Sean may well find that he has a bunch of "Gilets Jaunes" on his hands - or more likely off his hands. BA have no one else but themselves to thanks for listening to these idiot consultants.
