Thank you for that confirming you don’t need to link the CSR to open table to get the dining credit.
The open table explanation is very convoluted probably designed to drive people to open an open table account or link their CSR to the account. Looks like it is only required if you “need” to book one of the VISA “reserved” tables than you need to link CSR to open table.
