Traveling from IAD-LGA on the President's Day(last segment of a long business trip that I went out of way to fly UA and my company paid extra so I can fly United) all the flights to LGA were delayed because of "Air Traffic Control." So my original flight is delayed 3 hrs(received 5 Easyupdate calls) and decided to stand by an earlier flight which was also delayed.

I approached the UAX(Air Wisconsin) GA and asked, "is there a seat on this flight for me to stand by? If not, I will just go back to my original flight's gate area." The UAX agent, "I will call you when it's time for me to call you." Me: "Do I have a good chance to get on this flight?" GA: with much more attitude, "I will call you when it's time for me to call you." Me: "Excuse me, you didn't answer my question." GA: *rolling her eyes* "I will call you when it's time for me to call you." By then I just had it and walked away by saying "whatever." As soon as I turned she replied back, "whatever yourself."

You can imagine I was fuming and asked for a Service Director.
A Service Director aplogiezed and told me there were plenty of seats on the flight and gave me the boarding pass right away. By the time I got to LGA I was pretty calm and laughed at the whole situation, how can these customer service people be so rude? I felt like I was back at DC DMV! Unlike most of United CS people, these UAX CS people are inexperienced, young and full of attitude. A LGA service director gave me a file # of that sassy UAX employee and said Air Wisconsin pilots and FAs are not much better to deal with either.

Should I bother to call UA Elite Customer Relations? or am I too jaded? I am not sure if my call will make a difference. I will still fly United 'cause I am a stinkin 1K. What do you all think???
