I’ve given up: so instead may I ask opinions. I have to head to Aus and NZ and so am looking at the best route. Total cost with BA (on QR metal) is about 8400, which I would get 100% nTPs if I added a hotel (which I will do). Alternatively - and preferably - I could fly CX (I would prefer a HKG layover, and DOH layovers seem to be 45 mins which won’t do me any favours pre the long second leg). However isn’t CX woeful with tbe nTPs allocation? I can’t get my head around how this would work so would welcome some clarity. (I have tried to break a CX metal on a 125 ticket but can’t seem to, but am anyway curious how OW nTPs work in practice).
thank you.
