I recently completed a three night stay at this hotel and my experience closely matches that of FLYGVA as posted above. A few additional points: I was upgraded to an executive room on the 11th floor. The main upgrade, besides being on the same floor as the lounge is upgraded amenities in the room (including TWG tea).
The staff at the lounge were exceptional and offered truly personalized service. The self pour wine and spirits was welcome and the food during evening cocktails was tasty.
This is an older hotel, but nicely updated and the staff are all very helpful.
If you choose to have breakfast in Basilica and are a Diamond, as mentioned, you are seated in a separate room which offers complementary mimosas not available in the main buffet.
The main negative is that the bathroom in my room was TINY!
I liked the location in a quiet upscale residential area but not far from the MRT.
