I only joined less than two years ago and I was very impressed from the day 1 (especially coming from LHG), which lead to quite a bit of my money landing with AFKL. In that little time they managed to convince me that it's probably time to cash out and go back to flying direct on OS. And not because OS got any better...
I'm just glad LO is around on my one "mandatory" route. With AFKL pricing recently, I have not stepped foot on one of their aircraft since I don't even remember when exactly, LHg is not exactly inspiring loyalty with their system, but at least they are cheaper than AFKL.. mostly... quite expensive where they have a monopoly. But that's another discussion on how that has been allowed to happen.
I have been adjusting to my business-travel-less existence over the last year or so, and while at first, it was a change, I am now finding that rather than playing these games, I might as well just switch my leisure flying to LCCs despite the disadvantages that my specific location gives, or travel overland. As I have said in that one thread where we were all eating burgers, I no longer see the point in paying for the AFKL one.
