Check the luggage through to final destination or not? [SAS to Virgin via LHR]
We will be flying from CPH to ANU via LHR. Trip includes an overnight in LHR (landside). It will be with SAS and Virgin.
SAS have advised us that we can check the luggage through to ANU, which means we do not have to check-in luggage again next morning for LHR-ANU.

This would of course be nice so that we only have to carry our hand-luggage.
In the meantime, do anyone have experience with luggage 'camping' overnight at LHR or will we run the risk that it does not get onboard
our LHR-ANU flight?

Grateful for any comments and/or experience.
