This is odd to me: I am an AA lifetime Emerald member. I went to Qatar, BA, AA and Cathay to look for flights to Zurich. Nothing. I then went to Aeroplan (Star Alliance) and was able to ticket two business class tickets using points for this one way. Then I put in my AA number and my Aeroplan ticket says One World Emerald? Does this mean I get the additional luggage allowance? Perhaps the Aeroplan is a partner airline etc? Thanks in advance.
