This happened to me. I was unable to select the checkbox even though KTN & passport was in my profile.

I left it alone to see if there was any issue — touchless was on my boarding pass flying out of DCA.

For others with it not working, maybe try to remove both KTN & passport from profile — Save — re-add to profile — try checkbox again?
