Are all 1Ks/Plats/etc considered the same as far as upgrades go? IE - Would a 1K who just narrowly missed GS have the same upgrade priority as a 1K who just narrowly made 1K (with it then going to tie breakers of fare class etc)?
Every 1K is only differentiated for upgrade by the secondary criteria - fare class, etc. I think AA might differentiate by rolling premier points as an upgrade criteria?
