I assure you that I am not the only one who refers to the area around Sukhumvit generically as Sukhumvit. I actually picked that up on FT. It's a good descriptive for the heavily westernized area between Siam and Thonglor that is characterized by high-end shopping malls and western chain hotels.

You listed Hyatt Regency, not Park Hyatt.
I would still choose SGS over PH, but agree that is a personal preference. I consider SGS objectively better than the properties you actually listed. Which of those uses Frette linens, as but one example?
