I've been reading the forum for years but never contributed as I could always find what I was looking for so far. Now would kindly ask for some help regarding this promotion.

I applied for the TAP status match opportunity on the account of my Oro (Gold) status at Iberia plus. I checked all the published requirements and I fit the status requirements (status active and valid until April 1st 2026) and the country of residence.

However, my application got rejected - the only message I received was "Declined- Insufficient activity."

I got in touch with the status match support team, asking to provide the terms that define what would count as sufficient activity and keep getting the answers that that the application was rejected based on the information provided, and that I am welcome to reapply (which means paying the fee once more) but they can not guarantee approval.

They have not provided any terms that would define what sort of activity is needed.
I had 4 flights accredited to the Iberia Plus account less than a month ago (and before the application was submitted), from a different OneWorld member but one that brings the qualifying 'elite' points.

Am I missing something, are there some terms I am not aware of?

I checked all the info on terms provided on their website (the terms and the FAQ documents) and can't find any activity requirements. Had there been any requirements I am not meeting, I wouldn't have applied in the first place.

Does anybody have any experience resolving such situations or could provide any guidance?
