From HH's own site it seems HQ does not want to alienate the revenue stream from CC Aspire Diamonds but does realize that it needs to charm the high spenders + true BIB stayers.
So out of all Diamonds in the complete HH program,
just 4% are the cashcows of generating at least $18000 per year
AND are willing to stay at least 80 nights out the 365 days of the year.
Lifetime diamonds need to work even harder to add diamond reserve as distinction badge ....!
I wonder how many of that 4% are folks living in Hampton Inns? In some ways that's maybe not who they're changing for.
Maybe there are people dropping big bucks for 14 nights who they want to have a status relationship with and don't currently. What does one expensive stay earn now in status?
