It is only the credit card lounges which promise lounge benefits they cannot deliver at peak travel times (see also priority pass at CUN and SJD)

For 2+ decades Crap1 was my go to card for international travel. But with the idiotic switch to discover network I expect I will jettison Cap1 entirely on international trips. Unfortunately the best everyday spend cards from Chase and Amex charge absurd 3% forex fees so I may have to forego 2x/$1 everyday spend for those trips. But they still offer bonus points for restaurants and hotels which are the bulk of my travel spend.

LOL, guess you haven't flown through SLC or ATL, DFW, and PHX as well as MSP for entrance to the SC.. C1 lounge in LAS, DFW, and DEN I've had to wait.....
