We’ve booked overnight flights on IA from BWI to AMS and are flying the 737-9 and A321 Neo. Sleeping isn’t easy for me but somewhat more possible if I’m able to put my feet up. I’ve booked us in the bulkhead seats in Row 1 on the left side. Is anyone familiar with these seats? Do either planes have leg rests in the first row? Anything else to consider about bulkheads or any recommendations as to alternate seating?
I’ve not yet flown on their 737-9 but the 737-8 and A321 both have leg rests in all seats up front, including bulkhead. They’re of the type that extend from your seat (so kinda like a home recliner) and not the little drop-down bar from the seat in front. I’m not one to be able to sleep in recliner seats either but usually manage to get a little sleep when I fly SEA-KEF.
The A321s I’ve flown on have had equipment in the overheads over 1AC so those passengers’ stuff did need to be stowed in other bins.
