The Marriott Marquis has big groups as they have so many rooms they need to fill. In the Sofitel I have never seen large tourist groups, of course they have business groups as they have conference facilities as most of those large high end hotels have
I would consider Sofitel, J.W. Marriott, Hyatt Regency and also Sheraton Grande at about the same level; it depends on individual preferences
