While I feel this cannot be in their interest, it is difficult to come to any other conclusion. Frankly though, from an IAG point of view, they may well prefer their customers to select IB via MAD instead of BA via LHR. Either way, they’re cocking it up.

Well, we have other choices from the EU, even when still selecting OW. Ironically, some combinations showing zero availability on BA are still bookable at better prices on AA.
