so now that I’ve went ahead and bought, anyone know the easiest way to sync/import flights for passport? Bit hesitant to do a calendar sync - for privacy and the fact Im unsure of how well it handles because it probably isn’t consistent on how it can do it because if a million people put flights in their calendar, there must be a thousand+ different formats it has to figure out. I do have I think most of the last decade of flights in Tripit - but those aren’t super updated in terms of some of the seats, timing with delays etc. - those little pieces of data. Going back further, I have Flightmemory and openflights, so could probably import from there, though I stopped updating those probably in the last few years when those tools started being degraded without updates - particularly with Openflights. Been using my FlightRadar24 and myFlightPath more recently, but those only have roughly the last year or so of data. Obviously, manual is just a PITA. Obviously, manual just will take a ton of time (that O don’t really have). Also don’t want to do it wrong where I have to go back and start deleting things that don’t import properly. Also, does Flighty auto-update data from
scheduled to actual - ie, departure times, tail numbers I don’t have listed or might have not updated, etc. would love to hear feedback on the process from those who’ve used it.

For me, in the app its £59.99. But If I go ahead with the giftcard it's £44. So In theory, 15 months at £3.67 would be £55.05, still cheaper than this Black Friday deal. So buy via their website, the devs probably make a higher % from it and you save more than their Black Friday deals in some countries.

yes, I’d rather see a discount then extra time, and some developers do charge more in-app to cover commissions. Didn’t realize you could buy a gift card on the website, but here in the US the price seems to be the pretty much the same - in the US app store, flighty is $59.99/year compared to $59 for a gift card - ditto for lifetime or family (same price minus the .99 at the end), so hardly really worth it, unless you are planning on not renewing, because via gift card, you’d need to manually purchase a new one or do it in-app later to continue.
