I don’t want to go on a huge rant, so I’ll try to keep it shorter. I ordered tickets for an event in mid November. I purchased orchestra seats, which were supposedly confirmed. A few weeks before the event, I was asked to change to a row back to different seats, still in the orchestra section. Fine.
A day before, I still didn’t have the tickets. The morning of, by 10:00 am, I still didn’t have the tickets. I contacted customer service three times after 10:00 am and got different answers as to why I didn’t have tickets, each time assuring me I’d have them.
An hour before the show I called yet again and got sent a link to select tickets that were much farther back in the mezzanine section and $25 back for my troubles. It wasn’t worth the stress of using StubHub as a third party, and I wouldn’t go through the effort again unless I knew I was guaranteed tickets after my purchase.
