I was curious if other airlines are in a better or worse situation than BA regarding this certification process. Attached is an article on LATAM's refurbishment of 789s. Whilst certification isn’t mentioned specifically, their's seems to be quite a lengthy process as well!

All airlines are suffering when it comes to getting things certified. Look at Lufthansa and their new business and first products and the issues they had. Unfortunately this will likely be an issue for a few years yet. For UK airlines, CAA/EASA doesn’t help when it comes to certifications. The starlink installation will be of interest.
