It is as inevitable as England going down to penalties after scraping the group stage.
Personally I'd be about reserving free cancellation rooms in all of the cities that are possible venues.
I doubt even Scotland can fail to be one of the 8 best third placed teams and make the R32 with 4 points...although it’s a possible outcome if they finished 4th on GD,GS etc. in a group with all teams on 4 points. ( W1, D1, L1).
Booked my flights ages ago ( CV and Avios, into BOS (F) and out of CVG (CW)), rental car, hotels and secured tickets in the first phase. Not planning on following Scotland (me) or England (the Mrs) but if we come across them as we have at previous tournaments (long time since 98 though for Scotland!) so be it......Mrs is ‘kiss of death’ for England so maybe best if not.
More likely, I’ll be having buyers remorse as I sit through a tortuous 90 minutes of Uzbekistan 0 - New Zealand 0, whilst having my ears incinerated at Arrowhead!
