As we explained a few posts earlier the 1st frame will have to get certified by the FAA before it joins the fleet and allow the rest of the frames to get retrofitted. The recent long term government shutdown in the US doesn't help to that direction and the certification i speculate that might come at some point most likely after Christmas or even later
Thank you! Yes I read through the thread but it's odd that BA already showed the 787-9 seat plan with Suit now on their website, knowing the first frame still needs to be certified. Isn't that some sort of fault ad? I was just hopeful, thinking maybe the first frame was just certified but seemed like wishful thinking at this point.
