Just wanted to highlight this as many people plan trips to London and expect the public transport to be running, but there are no tubes, no buses (used to be some minor exceptions), no DLR, HEX, Elizabeth line etc. So if you are flying in/out that day you need to make other arrangements. Also shops are generally shut with the exception of some family run corner stores. All the big brand supermarkets will be shut.
