Glad I booked my LHR-LAX flight on LX instead of LH last month. Did you try the AC lounge? That is a long way to go for nothing, but well worth it if you can enjoy the SQ lounge, which is just as great as before the remodel. I honestly have no idea why anyone would choose the UA or AC lounge over SQ, but it is always empty in the mornings I have been there, despite there being several outbound flights.
