Hoping with the demise of seatguru that Aerolopa adds some of the features they had like notes about seats with limited recline, no/misaligned window, bulkhead limited legroom etc. It is difficult to tell from just looking at the seatmap drawing/picture what seats may have limited recline or restricted room and even some window alignment.
Its almost like they need a smaller or simplified picture/display as the graphics are very large and require a lot of scrolling on a laptop or phone to look at the seating.
Just a quick note to let people know that AeroLOPA will be launching its new website before the end of this year so please look out for our new site which creates the base for us to add a host of new features.
We've spent a considerable amount of time moving from a portfolio of static images to a database that contain a combination or images and meta data. This will provide us with the foundation to add some exciting new features. With the launch of the new site you'll be able to create an account, add favourites, receive email updates and look at detailed cabin meta data. Post launch we will be adding crowd sourced reviews, discussions forums and the ability to upload notes and images. We will also be augmenting the database to include individual seat meta data.
In parallel we will be launching a set of APIs that will enable our commercial partners to consume our information inside their own apps and websites. The new database contains seat coordinates so that our partners may colour code seats as they wish to show which ones are occupied, blocked, available etc.
We welcome all suggestions and feedback and we will report back here when the new site is available.
