HEL-AAA gets 1000 EUR converted into Adios using whatever rate the member has based on their status. Because 1000 EUR is 1/3 of the total distance and because 5000 miles is 1/3 of the total distance.
AAA-BBB on XX airline gets whatever Adios is due based on distance, booking class letter and (in some cases) status multiplier.
I would say yes but as long as it isn't any codeshare flights or on a partner airline which doesn't earn any TPs nor Avios. There are still some pitfalls on AY on some flights.
