It'll be interesting to see how Hilton IT incorporates these changes.
Since I'm a LTD, Hilton doesn't track my lifetime base points anymore. How do we feel the tracking of annual base points is going to go from an accuracy and timeliness standpoint? I know when I swipe my DL AMEX Reserve, my "pending MQDs" updates within 12-24 hours. However, Hilton's points posting can take 1-3 days past check-out.
Now that more hotels are going to 3rd party services for parking and pantry spending, getting that $18k in spending is even more difficult. Parking and grab-and-go F&B used to be easy ways to get some additional spend, but now more and more ancillary spending is app-based or kiosk-based. Is there any workaround to get these charges put back onto your room?
