Both are written out in full as soon as you click on a reservation and both are visible on the arrivals screen before that. A year ago, it was just Diamond with no on reservation differentiation. At some point early this year, I forget when, there was an update and two were very clearly delineated. One thing I forgot to mention for the point of full disclosure. Hilton worldwide is still running three different operating systems. What I'm talking about is PEP which is what the majority of properties now use and what the company is actively moving towards everyone using. Some places in Europe still use Opera, I have no idea what that looks like, while others still use OnQ which is being phased out and that does show the two different names.
To add to this, PEP is finally making its way into full service hotels. Mine transitioned this month. Expect big boxes and luxury to transition to PEP last. So those LTDS of you used to travelling to Hiltons and not Hamptons will find that Lifetime Diamond is recognized more moving forward.
