To the best of my knowledge, the combination of having to achieve the full tier points for every tier nd resetting the year is unique to FB. You could try to argue that some programs have different first qualification and requal point requirements, but FB is not 280XP to Gold. After you reach Silver, you upgrade to Gold on 180XP in any given year, supposing you requal to Silver. And XP carry over… so you really just need 140XP twice.
That is indeed the main difference and that is what I also said here...
The main difference with other programs is that with FB you first qualify for silver, are then going to 0, and if you want to go to gold, you need to gain the full 180 XP again...for requalifying in the same class there is no difference
