quick question - I can't seem to find the answer.
I understand the benefits of the ambassador club when staying at a intercontinental hotel.

but members of the IHG ambassador club are listed as 'platinum elite' in their account: does the status apply to all hotel chains (holiday inn etc.) or only to intercontinentals?
