Wonder what that means for the VA sectors into Queenstown then. Is Air NZ just going to go head to head on that route or incorporate that into the VA TT agreement? That's going to get so difficult for customers to understand. I've already seen VA customers show up to the BNE lounge and not be allowed access into the Air NZ lounge. I was behind wanting to get in, overheard a bit and understood the confusion due to the previous agreement. Anyway, I scanned my BP and then thought "wait a minute, I could just scan the family in" so I did. They weren't entitled to lounge access but it's so easy to see how these rules get screwed up and confusing for people and it's not fair on them so, I literally don't care. I had other stuff to do so had nothing to do with them in the lounge but I strongly dislike overly confusing rules for customers. So if other VA customers are in front of me I'm happy to scan them into the lounge. I used to use that VA/NZ partnership with lounges when it was a real partnership and I quite liked it. QF have the larger network but, well, alliances are a bit dead anyway.
