If we're mentioning soda in this thread; I have twelve 12-packs of 12-oz. soda remnant from a while ago when I took advantage of Jewel-Osco's [Albertson's] 'Buy 2, get 3 free' deal, culminating in twenty 12-packs. I'm certain all of this is out-of-code by now, but only one 12-pack is 'zero sugar' and that has the worst potential of losing its flavor. Coca-Cola and Pepsi's packaging codes are clear. Keurig Dr. Pepper's codes are a bit difficult to translate, but I seem to recall that the first alphabet letter is code for the month it was packaged; the numbers are the day of that month, and the specific canning line. Keurig Dr. Pepper's main plant for the midwest is in Du Page County [it owns it - it is not contracting with a Coca-Cola or Pepsi packager], so stores can and often do get the obscure brand like Vernors and Sun Drop, along with several Sunkist blends like Cherry Limeade (my favorite), and Strawberry Lemonade [usually Jewel-Osco; but Family Dollar typically gets a few]. Also, Cherry RC is being packaged again after a lapse during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I prefer A & W Creme Soda over the Root Beer.
